Introduction
Browser Volume Booster is a lightweight Chrome extension that lets you increase or decrease the volume of any browser tab up to 600%. All audio processing happens directly inside your browser using the Web Audio API. This policy explains, in plain language, what data the extension does — and does not — handle.
The short version: Browser Volume Booster collects no data whatsoever. Everything stays on your device.

Browser Volume Booster does NOT collect:

Local Storage
The extension stores only your own preferences, using Chrome's built-in
chrome.storage.sync so they follow you across your signed-in Chrome browsers:
- Volume level
- Toggle state (on/off)
- Theme preference
- User settings
No information is ever sent to external servers.
Permissions Used
Each permission the extension requests exists for one specific, functional reason:

Browser Volume Booster does not use:
- Google Analytics
- Facebook Pixel
- Tracking SDKs
- Advertising SDKs
- Remote servers
The only external link in the extension is ko-fi.com/supportdipak, which is opened only when you voluntarily click the "Buy Me a Coffee" button.
Security
All audio processing happens locally within Chrome, on your device, using the browser's own Web Audio API. The extension contains no remote code, makes no network requests, and no user information ever leaves your browser.
Children's Privacy
Browser Volume Booster is safe for general audiences. Because the extension collects no data from anyone, it does not — and cannot — knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this Policy
If this Privacy Policy ever changes, the updates will be reflected on this page and shipped with the corresponding extension version. Continued use of the extension after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
